Yep! erick is way to fast for us he beat us with a 10.3 to our 11.8. But the video we got of us racing him is priceless.

The turbo 4 class had 12-13 cars in it. One qualified with a 10.4 and the next 10 cars were 10.8-11.2. Matt Patrick from Zex ended up winning. I have never had a problem with my car in 2 years but as soon as I got to STL I had crazy ignition problems. After changing a few thing I got to where I could run up to 16psi without misfiring but my hondata rev limit went from 9400 to around 8400. I didn't find this out until my open run that was 5 min before the first round. It ended up biting me in the ***.

Me Zex
rt- .049 . 076
60'-.1.811 1.956
330'- 4.891 5.020
1/8- 7.299 7.375
mph-101.96 106.70
1000'-9.359 9.358
1/4- 11.081 11.027
mph- 127.88 134.81
right 1st- .0278

The track was prepped very well and I'm happy with the time I ran on 16psi but I still lost so it sucks. Hopefully I will figure out the topend misfire soon. After seeing the other cars there I see I need rear skinnies, more boost, and nitrous.

From the looks of the PRO turnout, it didnt look like it was a good showing for many PRO teams.

It was HOT, but being up there with good friends made it worthwhile. MANY Thanks go out to the guys at POLK in Arkansas for tagging along, Brian and Jen Galdonez for their hard work and preparation, and my g/f for being patient with me even though she did get us lost on the I-55/70 interchanges in east St Louis. LOL.

I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to be at work at 11pm tonight, and I wanted to get SOME sort of nap before heading to work, so I left the track at about 3:45pm or so.

Got some good footage of some racing, Josh, I got a good burnout video from Saturday for you... We'll have to get it hosted and burn s'more bandwidth like your last burnout videos did.

Norris was running 1-1.5 tenths slower than Erick. I'd say thats in the same league. Lisa F. was driving like a pro as always.

Erick wasn't even pushing at the event. Look at his qualifying pass. He didn't even go all out there.

Erick has been known to ease up to make his motor last longer when he's racing guys he knows are slower. He usually seems to turn it up a bit when racing Cloyse though, maybe to motivate him a little Seems to be working, Cloyse is getting faster every race.

I think the reason Cloyse is getting faster is because when erick talks we listen. In the short time Ive known erick its always so interesting to hear him talk. I definatly look up to him. And the cool thing is that Erick is willing to teach, but only if you are a good listener.
To erick.

I stood by your pit, and watched you guys put the front end on once, but I didn't want to interrupt. You guys looked busy/concerned.

Might remember me. I was alone, and snapped a pic of the engine JUST as you guys were closing the front end down over the engine on saturday... about 2pm, I'd say. White Honda T-Shirt w/ red ITR valve cover.

hahha, I'll take pic sometime. It was nasty, it snapped between the 3rd and 4th cylinder. Cylinder 1, 2, 3 still connected to the cam gear and the 4th one just chillin on its own, and leave the valves open and bent it.
