Default Easy suspension upgrade for 2003 Accord Coupes...

I just installed the rear sway bar from the 01-03 Acura CL TypeS onto my 03 Accord Coupe. Understeer has been greatly reduced and the car feels much more planted in turns...even with the lame stock 16" tires....It only takes about 15 minutes to change too...

Part Numbers to get are:
Bar: 52300-S3M-A01
bushings(2): 52306-S0E-015
brackets(2): 52308-S3M-A00

Discounted they shouldn't cost more than $75 for everything...

Next up : Front CL bar (27.2mm) Accord is 25.4...

By using the front bar, you will negate your gained chassis balance that you got with the rear bar.

How big is the CL's rear swaybar? Is this a better upgrade than buying a suspension technique sway bar?

You're right about that, so I might just see how I like it with just the bigger rear on there for a while. I'm really trying to get rid of the wallowing the stock bars allow. It seems to be much less with the larger rear bar...

The CL TypeS rear bar is 19mm(stock is 14mm). A bigger rear one like the ST would also work, pushing the car more toward oversteer...

Then you can use the front bar to counter the oversteer.

He wont have a problem with oversteer.

Fastbrakes, just get polyurothane bushings for the front bar.
