Nope it's only a pre-race for the year end's final round touring car championship race in Macau. Ppl gotta go to this race in Zhuhai to gain points before they can participate in the race in Macau so u won't see race queens here this time.
Can't wait til November when the Macau Guia races etc goes on. It's gonna be a special year i heard with two weekends of race instead of just one.

Which part did u go to? Well all these race cars are from different part of SE Asia like Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau etc etc.

lol i went there too and didnt see crap either. it was all bikes, volkswagen taxis and buicks. that was pretty much it. also, people there are not afraid of cars! so freaking scary even riding in a taxi. this was in beijing and shanghai.

I think Honda should now have their own plant in SE China I heard? Or they're planning to have one? I heard my boss told me that the SARS hold them back on that plan. But, don't quote me on that coz I'm not 101% sure...

According to Honda's press website:
- In China, the Japanese version of the Odyssey was successfully launched in April 2002, the second Honda model produced in China, following the Accord. As a next step, Honda will produce and sell a new small car in China sometime during the next fiscal year. Total capacity should reach 120,000 units in 2002. Further, Honda has signed a letter of intent with its joint venture partners Guangzhou Motor and Dongfeng Motor to conduct a feasibility study for a new automobile plant in China that would produce and export small cars.
- In Taiwan, Honda Taiwan Company Ltd., which is 100% owned by Honda, will begin production of automobiles in December 2002, starting with the CR-V. Plans are for production of 20,000 units in the first year.
