Went to Fontana last night.. The new resurfaced track is great..
I got this straight from the California Speedway website:
"Construction began last week on lengthening the concrete launch pad from 100 feet to 330 feet. In addition, the concrete will be "shot blasted" to improve traction."
I must say, the track has definately improved.
My 60fts got alot better.
Before the construction, I was only able to get a best 60ft of 1.95, but last night I was able to pull consistent 1.83s....
Pretty good 60fts for 22x8x15 MT slicks eh..

i think its saturday. Not sure what time they open, but my friend was telling me that they only allow 300 people to race.

chris im ready to set another HT meet up there. Havnt drag raced in a long long *** time, i think i forgot how too 
Plus it will give me a chance to see what my motor will be able to pull off.

Is it street legal? because my hatch is a track car that will have lexan windows, front clip and no interior or insurance. fontana would be a lot closer than driving to LACR from LA.
