installing 99 SI LCAs on a 99 dx
how hard would this be to do?? i have had some for a while and wouldnt mind putting them on so that i can have a better variety of sway bars available.
will i need the si front forks as well? or will my dx forks clear?!?!

The LCA's should bolt up like stock. I honestly don't remember if I used the forks on mine, but I think I did. I think they're wider than the dx forks. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I'm right
yes you will need the SI front shock forks to go with the SI front sway bar and LCA's. So the complete shopping list is:
Si 26mm front sway bar
Si endlinks
Si D brackets with bushings
Si front LCA
Si front shock forks.
Very easy install. have fun.

oops one more thing, you can reuse all your bolts except for the bolts that attach the shock fork to the control arm, you will have to have the si bolt.

install wasn't too easy for me....i had to hammer the hell out of my stock lower control arms to get them to budge off the knuckle. it took a lot of hammering and swearing to get it off. also, in order to get the sway bar in, you have to unbolt your exhaust piping, and unbolt your shift linkage. but besides those few things, the install was easy, and well worth it.

The main problem that I ran into was that I had to compress the suspension to simulate ride height to get the end links to line up with the control arms.
