Default May need to replace clutch - few questions.

My clutch may be glazed. It requires for me to depress the clutch pedal 75% down for the clutch to engage/disengage. Shifting is stiff still also. I sure i can resurface the flywheel and purchase a new clutch set.

Am I able to get away from purchasing a whole new clutch set by just buying the clutch friction disc and resurfacing the pressure plate (pressure plate resurfacing possible?)?

Sure I can do it but I was questioning another alternative

i'd buy another clutch instead of trying to patch up the existing one.. beware of bearings with aftermarket clutch kits - make sure everything match..

in my case, release bearing was too small and made all types of noises.. had to re-install with oem bearing - no problem after that

Of course, I'd always stick with OEM bearings.

I don't think being glazed is the problem. Might be one of the bearings.
