My 95 civic EX died on road after installing fuel system, help
Well I just got a 95 civic EX, I installed high performance fuel rail, fuel pump, and fuel injectors.
When I took it for a test drive the engine started stuttering and I shut it off. Now it won't start.
Anyone know what the problem is and what I need to do? I don't have any knowledge about EFI. Thanks-

when you're looking at your engine on the right side (driver) of the fuel rail there should be a return fuel line. take that off and have somone turn your key to the on pos. (but don't start the car)... when they do that fuel should come out of the line. If it doesn't then you're not getting fuel.
Also what kinna fuel pump was it? In line or in tank? Does it make a REALLY loud noise now? If it does then you probably burned it up... check those and let us know...
Also try checking your dist.

nice, dude, thanks for the help. I guess the fuel pump I got is too big for my engine, or it's burned out when I was driving on the road, I am gonna take a look at it. by the way, what are the fist 10 things you will do to a 95 civic ex if you are gonna super it up?
(god, tired, just walked 3 hrs to home after the car's died
poor rookie )

first make some goals... do you want it to look good first or go fast first? decide that then let me know... and i'll give you my opinion...
