Default In Need of spring/ Why does my brake light come on

2 questions for you guys....number 1.
I need a god set of front end progressive springs, one of mine is broken. Reasonable price is the number one priority but still good quality.

Number 2.
Some times when i punch it or take a turn at a good speed (before i found out my springwas broken) my E-Brake light will come on. Is this a bad sensor on my brake line or is this maybe a sensor picking up the suspension problems in me front left wheel?

Thanks for any help

There is a connector under the center console going to the ebrake.Check and see if its loose.

check your brake fluid. Why doesn't anyone ever seem to think of this?? If your light comes on more when it's cold, or during hard accel or cornering, I bet your fluid is just at the low line, and making it shift is setting off the light. Honestly it can look full but be right at that mark. Top it off and you should be good.

What rjr162 said... I'll bet that's it too! People just seem to forget that they have a brake resovoir that needs to be full...

ok, that settles one of the questions, second question..... I have a broken front left spring... IU want to put in a progressive spring and i would like to lower my car about an inch. What is a good solution for a reasonable price. I was looking at coilovers and dropzones were rather cheeep.....where does money come into play on this. Any recomendations?

if you don't plan on adjusting the ride height, get a set of Neuspeed, Skunk2, etc springs. Dropzones are exactly what you said... cheap. You'll get what you pay for honestly. I know a guy with an MX-6 who went with them. Ride sucks ballz.

there is screws around the seat, but that center console runs all the way to the back seats do i have to take out that whole big faulker?
it looks like there is a switch on the bottom of the e brake underneath the console
i reached down there and it feels ppretty tight but i can't get acces to that screw
w/o taking out the console, does this sound like the same location you guys
are talking about???

Yeah at the base of the e brake it is just a single wire connector.

Ok i tightened the screw that holds the e-brake switch
and the connector and still my e-brake light won't come off
i'm am thinking that the spring in the cable going to the caliper is shot or

the red indicator j/k

hmmm, well, the switch still could be bad, its really not that big of a deal to take that cover off (oh wait unless you have a 92 and it has that monster plastic thing) and then you can test the switch
