Default Pics of my d16y8 and EK hatch

Well got my new d16y8 setup running, [retty sure the computer is fawked though. Temp goes from normal to cold and just bounces around, and it throws a CEL randomly and runs rich as hell after the CEL. If anyone has a p28 they're looking to sell pm me. Here she is:

I know you all love the multi-colored rats nest of wires in there

Its a stock y7 bottom end with a y8 head, and the head is milled to up the compression to stock ex compression , and i go tthe cam gear on there retarded to ge tthe whole compression thing right. Also have Ractive cold air intake, 4-2-1 header, full exhuast with no cat. Once I get some cash im going to get it dynoed do you think 150whp is too much to expect? Ahh yes and while im here a picture of my dirty dirty EK hatch:

I'll post better pics of the car once i get my rims and get her cleaned and waxed. I would have rims if it werent for these the select shady h-t characters .

Let me know what u think
Dan

those fog lights are for cosmetic purposes right? You might as well go all out rally style fog lights (Impreza fogs) if you want function. lol

150 whp from a stock ex engine? how about 105 whp? you should've just gotten an ex engine harness and ecu, and the wiring would've been a lot easier and cleaner looking.

With the name "Turbotime" I was expecting something else.

I hope you like the car, cause I don't. Sorry.

Good job swapping heads

clean that **** up. take off the eyelids and tiny assed foglights, and it'll be a lot nicer IMO.

your car looks like you just came out of high school. =P

jk jk.. "To each their own."

good luck with the car.

damn you guys are ragging on this guy pretty bad...nice job doing the y8 head swap yourself. I would do something about those nasty wires though ....and get rid of the fogs. Then you should be straight. I also wouldn't expect close to 150whp with your setup. Get some good pistons, a good cam, p and p the head, etc...then maybe you'll be making over 150whp. You should be able to get 170whp out of that engine if you do it right.

Yes there should be.

Also, I would not expect 150whp...more like 110-120whp.
