weird squeak at driver side wheel when turning right, opinions please
problem just started yesterday, i was thinking this sound comes because i did not change my brake pads for quite a long time but i need more opinions,, everytime i seem to turn right or even steer a little to the right, a squeak sound comes from my driver side wheel area (noticeable sound), when i turn left no problem, even with sudden road change and ur car shift's right a little it squeaks again, checked all my lug nuts they are tightened, fluids up to mark, wheels + tires still good, left side driver also squeaks only when i hit potholes but i think thats from my suspension, think its coming from the same area?? thanks
Maybe this issue (from http://auto.consumerguide.com/...7.htm)
"Steering noise: If there is a squeak or squeal in the steering, especially when making a slow, tight turn, look for a label on the power steering reservoir that says PSF-V additive was added. If the noise is still there after additive was installed, the right-side end seal on the steering rack will have to be replaced. (1990-93)"

It's pretty easy to take off the wheel & look at your brake pads. Unless you have steelies, you can see the outboard pad without even taking the wheel off. Doesn't matter how many opinions you get, it still comes down to you looking at your own brakes. We can't see it from here.
If your brakes are OK, then you can start looking for more difficult things to do.
edit...
Most of the time, they'll screetch when you apply the brakes. But sometimes they're wierd. Once I had them make a moaning sound only when backing up. One other time it made a funny whistling sound only when turning. Both times I was too stubborn to LOOK at the brakes. Both times I thought
to myself afterwards - just because it was so EASY to take a look at the brake pads & settle it.

yea i have been rolling on steelies , but yea i do need a change of brakes, but would the car squeak if i only make right turns cause of the brakes? even when im not applying the brakes, it does it also at the turns..

ball joints squeak sometimes when they go bad. that could explain why it only does it when you're turning or during a sudden shift to the side.
