Default d16z6 head - Pic Request

Hey I picked up a Z6 head, and I am just trying to see if everything is there. Specifically in the upper left portion of the head, where the vtec solenoid is located. The solenoid is there but there is an empty spot where something looks to screw in . . . I believe it is a green plug???

If someone could post a pic of a complete head, specifically that area it would be very helpful.

I am missing that green plug in the picture, what is it and how important is it?

Any idea on how much one will cost?

no green plug, no VTEC. no idea how much it costs, but if the wiring isn't there, you're SOL anyhow.

I thought the little brown cylinder beside the green plug was the vtec solenoid . . .

So without that plug the head will not have vtec? I can do the wiring can't I? I just need that plug correct?

what is the deal with all the different Z6 valve covers that honda put on the cars. i have a 94, so it says VTEC real big on it, and its like bare metal, no black paint on it. strange.

92&93 are the same = little honda logo that says honda on it only (best sleeper cover and the black finish stays clean looking)
94&95 same w/ biggo VTEC in y0 face Ricer appeal to it, and bare metal finish (good if you got time for a polishing project).
Personally i like the 92-93's

so assuming I can't find this green plug, what can I do to solve the problem?

I am looking to do this mini-me asap, so this is a very disapointing set back.

That's the head, right by the Distributor.. the TPS is on the throttle body, which is connected to the intake manifold. That's the oil pressure sending unit I do believe as someone else mentioned. Good luck, shouldn't be too expensive.

the green plug is the VTEC Oil Pressure sensor and the Cylinder above it is the VTEC selenoid. you need both of them.
