How do you bleed the cooling system on a 97 GSR?
HELLLLLLP!
I have a 97 GSR engine in my EG hatch and i'm having lots of over heating problems. So far I have drained and flushed the system and installed a colder thermo. A new radiator is coming this week. What has me totally stumped though is how to bleed the system. I have a Helms manual for a 95 GSR which shows a bleed valve at the head where the upper radiator hose comes in. On my 97 engine though there isn't any valve. The casting boss is there but it's just an empty, untapped hole.
I really hope one of you integra guys can help me out. Washington DC in August is not a place you want a malfunctioning cooling system!

i think for your car all you have to do is fill the radiator up to the top, run the engine a little, then fill the radiator to the top again, then run the engine a little and you keep doing that untill when you open the radiator top there's no room to put coolant....... i think the newer integras have an auto bleeding thing in there, unlike my 94 GSR which has a bleed bolt like teken describes
Weird, I have a 2000 GS-R head and I DO have a bleeding bolt...
I have a cooling problem also. I did what "keys" told, worked like a charm, did even you the bleeder.
