exhaust manifold stud BROKE OFF!!!!

has this ever happen to anyone? i changed my header back to stock and guess i tighten it a lil too much and the header nut broke off with a piece of the stud....can i repair this!?

Does a part of the stud stick out from the block? If so, you can take a pair of vice grips and remove it.

If it's broke off flush with the block, you'll need to have it extracted or retapped.

Which stud is it?

This is just me, but if you dont have a leak, forget about it and fix it when and if a leak occurs. My lower left stud has been gone for...over 40k and Ive never developed a leak.
