Default CRX JDM Cluster

I have a JDM cluster on my CRX which has been working great until today.
I noticed after I left for a drive the KPH needle was not moving but the odometer was. It stayed like that for about 20miles then the needle started working. What could be the problem? A JDM cluster has an electronic speedo also. Has anyone encounter this problem? Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

The speedo cable is not properly connected to the back of the cluster or the speedo cable worked its way out of the tranny.

pull it out and check to make sure all the screws on the speedo side are tight, not sure if it's like a US one where it has a printed flexible board on the back. Still try that and see what happens
