Default quick help with suspension . .

i dont wana waste anyones time here, so here it is . . I have GC Coils w/ stock shocks. I am ABOUT to buy Koni Yellows from a friend who used them with his eibach sportlines, now what else will i need to get from GC / Koni ? Or will my GC work with his koni yellows . . ? n yes, how good of a combo is this ? ?

very good combo, i think u need special perches or sleeves from koni though, not sure.

The red sleeves need to be machined to fit the Konis. There's a small insert that get put in so it will fit the shocks. You may have to buy new sleeves, but call GC to make sure. Maybe they will machine yours for less $$.

Nice combo, BTW. I like mine a lot.

email g-c or call them to fiind out. i thought you just need the inner sleeve/adapter. but i heard on the new gc's you don't need it anymore. i'm all confused. free bump for you.

I have the same setup on my car, and you will definitely need the special sleeves from GC to fit the Koni's. Like someone said above, there is a perch/groove on the these sleeves to accomodate the Koni's. All other shocks work with the regular sleeves as far as I know. I think I paid about $25/corner from GC, you can call them up and order on the phone.

dammit i got spend MORE money lol **** . . well i guess i will be giving groundcontrol a call sometime tomorow morning to see what i have to pay to be able to use my GC Coils with my friends koni yellows . .
