reving idle at start up
I have a 94 lx, ( 5 gen correct?) that has a bad warm up sensor, the things reven from 1200 to about 2400 for the first few minutes of start time then it runs normal. Any Ideas? Of it have 195000 on it and runs like a top.. i belive it is one of the sensors on the t-body but that are very expansive (200+) and I really don't want to spend that kind of money on it. Any suggestions or know what sensor it could be so I can check some jnk yrds.
probably IACV, which you could simply plug and perform a throttle body bypass (do a search). Otherwise, intake manifolds in one whole piece can be had for $60-70 on eBay with all sensors, so try there first...if your going to do it.
Also check for any vacuum leaks.

Why don't you check for vacuum leaks first, since that's FREE. And even if you find a leak, vacuum hose is pretty cheap.
Lots of people have cleaned their IACV, that seems to work.
