From what I've seen or heard, I think most of the people go with the 89 ecu. I'm running an 89 ecu. Are you running a zc motor or an a6?

When I had my ZC, I tried just about every ecu at some point or another.
The PM7 ran it the best. Most reliable, best power delivery, smooth and predictable. Non of the O2 codes that can happen with the PG7 or PR4

So I couldn't go over 112 mph...that was probably a good thing.

The ECU that was designed for the DOHC ZC engine it the PM7, therefore, I would go with that. Honda thought it was a good idea....

hey man the zc is the smoothest but it has a lower top speed but asfar as using a 90 integra ecu i believe its for a 1.8 litre not a 1.6 like the 89 ecu

90-91 teg ECu is the OBD0 PR4. it will work, but it sucks for the ZC. it only has a 6800 rpm rev limit. get an 88-89 PG7, 7500 rpm rev limit, works great for ZC.

I dunno about that 7500 limiter, my shift rod was real loose when I first did the swap and I mis-shifted and the tach hit 8k. Nothing messed up, pulled one valve slightly out of spec so it ticked but that was fixed easily enough. So i dunno, I know the stock tach can be off but it was definately up there...
