Default 94 LS header on a 93?

I know the exhaust is the same on a 94 and a 93 Integra non vtec B18. I've heard from Comptech that a 94 header (comptech's) could possibly fit if you drop the front beam on a 93 to install it. Apparently there's a clearance issue. I'm not opposed to doing that because I'd love to have a CT header. I've installed tons of their stuff on NSX's and appreciate their reliabilty, hp gains, and service after the sale if needed.
I'm also wondering what the best header OTHER than CT for the buck. (asking for a buddy of mine). He doesn't have the cash for CT....for that mater I don't either, but I'm still gonna get one if it can fit on the 93. I'm stuborn like that and don't mind going without lunch from time to time.

It's not that I don't have the money. I have a high maintenance wife and a 5 year old son. She's high maintenance....BUT WORTH IT! Comptech doesn't make a header for a 93 Integra. They make one for a 94. Same exhaust manifold, same gasket, just a clearance issue.
I work for an Acura dealer in Nashville. I do NSX work there and on the side. Our dealership doesn't like to do aftermarket stuff, so I do it at home on them. The owners know me and bring them to me when they want something the shop wont do. Also, I've been flown all over the US by NSX owners to work on their cars. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to take 3 suit casses full of tools on a plane. I'm limited to how much I can do on site, but most of them want stuff that can easily be done without a ton of tools. I do require that they have compressor handy. If I drive to their location I carry my own.
I don't mind spending the money on the header, I just need to know if a 94 Integra header will fit a 93 because I'd like to have a CT.

I just did this the other day, I took a dc sport header from a 95 ls, and put it on a 93 integra, I had to cut a piece of the crossmember for the header to fit, i had to cut a piece about an inch deep into the crossmember and then about 4 inches long. Then I welded a small steel bar to reinforce it, not sure if thats necessary, but put it on for piece of mind. The header will not fit without cutting the crossmember.

Thanks man, I think the DC and the CT are about the same as far as dimensions go. They can't be that far off. Does the header ever hit the crossmember while driving?
