looking for a throttle body for a 98 gsr that is between 64-70mm in size...this will bolt up to a ported and polished gsr engine correct? anyone have any ideas, i dont want to send my current throttle body to get bored out though

 

u looking for a new try inlinefour or ask god, dave, mike here on the board
and u can get a spoon ITR TB 70mm at the outlet which tapers to 64mm to the inlet
alot of other places require core exchange tho

 

i got a JG 64 mm TB from importparts.com.....they already had a core in stock....i didn't have to send mine until the sent me the overbored one.....you should give them a call and ask them when they will have one in stock

 

hey, how about doing it urself??? i did it myself, i used a dremel and sandpaper, now my throttle body is nice and chrome...

 

any problems with it so far...can you give me a little more detail about how to do it and how long in took

 

all u need is a dremel, polish, and sand paper, i used a dremel to grind it a bit then i started to sand it with 300 grid sand paper up till 2000 grid sand paper, it takes a long time to sand, very long time.......u sand it until it turns chrome and when you can see scratches anymore...then u use the dremel again to apply the polish....no problem so far, give a little better throttle response, not much though
