Price of civic
Hello,
I recently start looking for a car and my choices are vw golf, mitsubishi lancer, honda civic. I went to the dealership for a 2003 civic LX with automatic transmission and after barganning for nearly 1 hour he was able to lower it down to $14,500. I got also got the 2003 golf GL down to 15800. I want to know how much people pay for their civics and what car should i get?
Thanks

not everyone and there mom buys a car to modify it, I personally preffer a new car, in which I buy new cars except for 1...and thats a del sol...because they dont make em anymores...with a new car ya dont gotta worry about some kid neutral dropping it all the time in an automatic or tearing up the manual transmission gringing gears trying to race...im not sure about that price though to go back on topic...try ww.NADA.com and check out what the cars worth....that would be your best bet
MT tends to be cheaper and a hell lot more fun...my advice go manual tranny and you wont regret it, if you do not plan to do a engine swap I would go with a bit better of a civic EX or SI...
Personally I would buy a used car, regardless of the brand, in decent conditions, and build up on that...
hope it helps
