Default Mugen front strut bar

I had avoided getting any aftermarket strut bars. It's just bling right? Why would you put an aftermarket bar when the ITR comes with a stock one right? Wrong, soon after putting the Mugen front strut bar the car steering is more responsive to even the slightest of input. I personally recommended this upgrade.

Now some may argue, that Realtime ITRs use the stock bar. However, they also use a 8 point or 10 point cage in their cars that go from the cabin to through the firewall into the engine bay to increase rigidity.

I think my chassis stiffening for the street is complete with a 4 point and Mugen front strut bar.

My first experience w/ a front mugen strut bar was when I had a 00 Si and replaced the stock bar w/ a ITR front strut bar, then a mugen. with each change, it helped "tighten" up the steering feel and made cornering feel a lot crisper. When I sold that car, I put the bar into my R and have been happy since.

I don't plan to install any type of cage in my car, so I've tried to make the chassis as stiff as possible w/ mugen front and rear strut bars, neuspeed lower front tie bar(also off the Si) and a comptech billet alum rear tie bar(on the car when I bought it). Lowdown suspension and a 26mm rear sway bar and I'm a very happy camper for street suspension duties.

Glad you like the mugen bar.

Weekend was fun. Mugen strut bar definately adds feel on the initial turn in.
