Here's what I'm debating on at the moment:

1. CTR replica front lip (would need to be painted)
2. carbon fiber front lip (spoon style, etc.) (would not need to be painted)
3. OEM SiR front lip (would not need to be painted)

Post pics of these lips if possible, milano red preferably!

i perfer the type r but i am rolling a mugen lip right now.

none of these are my cars.

 

man i am glad to see that i am not the only one that is not converting to a 99-00 front end.

we need to keep repping the 96-98 front ends.

this car is it the stock vsm colour or what oclour is it, im using a old *** computer monitor so the colour looks green to me (just like all of honda-tech)

 

its this tan color all i know is it is used commonly on honda and acuras

SiR is super cheap, and you know the fitment is fine. Mine was bent when I ordered it from Manchester Honda, though... it's long since gone, torn off in a stunnafied lowrider driveway scrape.... I'm thinking about picking up another one now that I have my car at a sensible height The aftermarket replicas usually fit like ****, and I mean... for the 96-98 front, you can't really find an actual replica of the 96spec lips, they all look like the 99's slapped on our fronts...

 

Oh and for a visual perspective, this lip will be going on a 1997 civic ex coupe, milano red. It will have a CF hood, CTR replica headlights (DIY), painted OEM skirts, grey Si leather interior, and 98 GSR blades painted Type R gunmetal.

 

mugen style lip...looks real tyte, gonna be getting one myself. they go for $320 though

the first lip is not ctr. Its usdm oem.

 

whichever... i never really care much about the external appearance of my car

 

there is very little difference between the two. I dont suppose you would be interested in selling the front lip would you?

CTR or option lip is the way to go... IMO
