After reading all these stolen teg report I am hella scared?

most thieves go for a car that has stuff done to it. something worth stealing.

 

my stock accord got broken into several times
but my 90 teggy has rims, headlights spoiler, sound sytem, exhaust an attractive
color but they dont even bother with it.
unless I was flashing a vtec engine in it I think it will be a target..

Seriously though, just don't get too attached to the car. After all, it's just a car.

 

I wouldn't let theft rates dicatate what car you buy. It happens often, but I wouldn't say its common. There are 51,000+ users on Honda-Tech, remember. Most with hooked up cars.

I am scared because I have liability only insurance. I drive lots of miles so I think it is cheaper for me to drive it till it die than to pay lots of insurance. Currently it has 98k on it, just wondering.

 

Automatic tegs are normally taken for parts especially if they are "hooked" up.

 

get an alarm, and add a kill switch.

 

I definitely dont think it is a prime target, but who knows man, the thief may want an auto tranny for his GF's Integra hes repairing or something...you never know.
