Default jdm gsr head...

I just purchased a gsr head and it seems alittle different than my stock gsr. The intake manifold is a bit different in terms of hoses and such and the throttle body is a little different... Is there any way i can tell if the head that i purchased is jdm or usdm... The owner told me it was off a 95 gsr and mine is a 96 so maybe thats y its kinda different but im just trying to make sure... thankz

The heads are physically the same. Intake manifolds are slightly different with respect to the EVAP solenoid mounting. OBD-2 manifolds mount the solenoid in b/w the #2 and #3 runners. OBD-1 manifolds mount the solenoid by the throttle body.

OBD-2 throttle bodies also seem to have deleted the fast idle thermo valve on the bottom of the throttle body, but I haven't seen enough 96+ throttle bodies to say whether this is true for all OBD-2 throttle bodies.
