Default How about running ITR head and intake manifold with GSR pistons

pros and cons about running a type R head and intake manifold on a b18c1 block with gsr bottom internals

a la poor mans type-R? compression will be lower with that set up. Prolly be wise to up compression.

Type-R head has the better valvetrain, a +.
Bigger Type-R combustion chambers = less compression, as Louie said, a minus.
No butterfly on Type-R manifold, and better high rpm flow vs a stock GSR IM, so that would be a plus for the ITR head.
It just depends on your setup, as to which would work better for you.
