Default anyone have a lightweight flywheel w/ turbo? like?/dislike?

ive read on this many times but alot of people give advice thats been handed down, is there anyone here that actually has a lightweight flywheel+turbo?

Any problems? how light did you go?

i was thinking of buying the cm flywheel which is 7.5lbs. after talking w/ one of the guys from ACT he told me the biggest differnce is noticed most in 1st gear.any advice? tips?

It is definitely a good investment, especially if you plan on upgrading your clutch the same time. I purchased the 10 pound JUN flywheel and like it. It revs faster and I did not lose any driveability. If I could do it again I might even go with a lighter flywheel.

I did have to bevel the starter gears a little to get it to engage correctly with the flywheel. Sometimes you have to do this and sometimes you don't.

well... i had my fidanza flywheel (8.5lbs) with act clutch on my drag turbo, and i am not sure what to think...it doesn't seem very much of a difference honestly, but when i compared it to the other prelude's, it really seems much faster. for example, if you look at iranman's video ( he has jrsc), he said that the rpm rises much faster than stock, and i think mine is like about 20% faster... but i am not sure if that meant much at all. as for "drivability", it seems to work fine; seldom do i stall my engine, even on the hills of SF.

hopefully this helps.

I've got a toda flywheel...I LOVE IT >>ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PURCHASE YOU CAN MAKE!

I drove the car for about 2 months w/o the flywheel and noticed the difference after I installed it car feels...well, Lighter!..like its more responsive! Never drove the car turbo w/o the flywheel so I can't tell a difference...The flywheel was put on before the turbo!
