Default NEED HELP ON TRANNY PROBLEM PLEASE!!!!!!

Guys,
I went to the dragstrips today,Wehn i was about to launch,my clutch engaged for 1 second and then my revs went up with my speedo but my car wasnt goin anywhere,my car was still running perfect but something is messed up with my drivetrain.i put it into gear and let go of the clutch and it doesnt even stall.Please help a brotha out,this is such a headache!!

I'm thinking you lost some springs. Your pressure plate has left the building.

any grinding? noises would be the key tell tale factor here

was this on an LS tranny? LS differentials are notibly weak and tend to blow from hard launches.
