clutch dont fit?!?

Default clutch dont fit?!?

ok i had a s1 trans on my b18b crx..so i bought a ys1 trans i tried to put the trans on but my clutch wont go onto the trans...do i have to get a 92-93 clutch??can i just get the clutch or do i have to get the whole kit??

yeah the clutch discs for the 90-91 cable Bseries is different from the 92-93 YS1. also the hydro B-series trannies use the same disc as the YS1. HTH

so you saying i can use 92 and up b series clutches?
ohh and if i where going to run 6 puck can i use my stock pressure plat and flywheel??

you can use the stock pressure plate , but im not sure if itll be as good as a Heavy duty pressure plate.

All you need to do is get a disk for a 92+ tranny. I have the 92 oem GSR clutch disk with an ACT pp, and it works great. I changed from an S1 also, and the disk is the only thing you need to change out.

thanks for all your help..well im getting a 6 puck for 94+ teg..im going to bring my trans when i pick it up so that i can check if it fits..thanks

Using the ACT HD will gain you another 30-55% clamp load(depending on stock unit) and stronger rivets, straps, ductile casting, and SFI cert. I don't know if you need all that though, maybe the disc will be just fine. Bang for the buck it's not a bad deal, except for the slight tradeoff in drivability.
