Default Final wheel suggestions for my prelude.

alright guys, i got the cash burning a hole in my pocket and I am ready to finally buy some wheels to replace the 15" chrome blingers that came with my car when i bought it=/

My first choice in Gram light 57pro's in gold. I have never seen them on a prelude, much less a 4th gen prelude. I really like them and will probably get them, but suggestions couldnt hurt.

My second choice is RH C2's, i have seen them on a prelude like mine before and they looked awesome, they look awesome on any car really. They are just....really common, and i want to be different. They are half the price of my first choice though.

Anyways, here are my requirements:

17"
4x114.3
semi-Lightweight

Anyways, if any of you ahve any suggestions on what you think would look good on my prelude, please let me know. Please post pics, if possible (even better if they are on a car like mine!)

thx =]

I like the gram lights alot. I think I'll go with slipstreams though. It's hard to find a lighter wheel than them and I can afford 4 for street tires and 2 for drag radials.

its a milano red 1993 (4th gen) prelude.

I'm leaning toward something gold/bronze.

I guess I want something flashy, but performance oriented as well (ie: light; forged maybe)

ps: i like those gtp's a little bit, but a friend actually JUST got those rims in gunmetal, so i dont want to bite his style

A set of Volks would look great on your 'lude. I'm not a big fan of BBS wheels on Japanese cars. Those wheels look more at home on European cars.

c2's are very nice on your generation LUDE. but i'd probably get the VOLK GT-Ps.

don't get slipstreams on the prelude, i think it would look silly...

i dont think those flow too well with the body style of a 4th gen. that would look amazing on a 5th gen though..
how about some of these:

If you get those gold gram lights with a polished lip, you will forever be a pimp.

Sorry, I dont have any pics of my car yet..I will take pics when i get my baby some new shoes and i get my lisence back in a couple of weeks.

Those last bbs wheels looked pretty tight, but I am thinking that my final descision is the gold gram lights.

Another question: I was thinking later down the line of buying two regular gram lights (in gold) with some bfg drag radials mounted on them. they would be 15"

I am not really a fan of two different wheels on a car, but for some reason I think it might look kind of cool. also gram lights come in 15x7 i believe. Thoughts? anyone?

thx for your suggestions guys

I'd say go for the Gram Lights. GTP's face is too flat for my taste. And aren't 3 piece c2s around the same price as the Gram Lights?

i actually like the look of flat black slips on red 4g ludes... go figure...

anyways, out of all of those choices, i'd personally go with the RH C2s... but thats just me...

either way, all the choices in this thread i think would look good... cept the bbs's... i too think they only belong on european cars. good luck
