finally got my mini me running. i had to let it run obd 0 because i couldnt get spark with obd1. now i set cam timing so it would start. i think it is 1 tooth off because it is at a ridiculously advanced setting. i think it was around 7 degrees. thats the only place i could get it to run. also i set my dist timing with a timing light but at the place where it was no bolts would hold it down so i used several zipties at the top mount. it seems to be holding up fine so far because the dist fits pretty tight in the head also. i do have some valve tick but i will adjust it soon. my main question is i am hearing some metalic like clanging noises from the tranny side of the engine. also i have a misfire at around 3000 rpm in all gears. my question is to get true tdc i would have to line up the crank with this mark first come the three marks close together then a couple inches away is a single white mark. i used the single white one for tdc.

the thumb should be pointing to it and line up the cam gear with the 3 and 9 o clock marks because it is a 1.5 liter engine.
