JDM/ITR oem rim specs Please???
I searched this forum and got a size of 5x114.3-16x7 with a +50 offset.
Is this the correct specs for the JDM oem rims? If so, is that measured in metric or standard or a combo of both? What are the weights, and as compared to the USDM wheels?
My plans include a set of high quality light 16" rims, I also plan on changing to the JDM final drive gearing.
I want to get a set of lighter than stock rims with the exact specs sizewise as the oem equipment "if possible". If you know what the size of the stock rubber is that would be appreciated too, and the type of rubber used in the land of the rising sun would also be a nice help.
Thanks to all for helpful and useful information, NO B.S.PLEASE!!!

5 - number of lug nuts
114.3 - diameter of the lug bolt circle, in millimeters (Why the funny number? Because it exactly equals 4.5 inches)
16 - diameter in inches
7 - width in inches
+50 - offset in millimeters
Thanks Mike and NSXtcjr,
Clear and concise information is much appreciated.
I'm looking at the Volk TE-37's @ 16x7.-5-114.3 with +42 offset. This seems to be the closest fit. Any opinions? I also thought of running 205-50 series rubber on the rims any more opinions?
Thanks again guys,
A.

+42 offset should be alright, the wheel will just sit a little further out.
as for tire size, 215/45/16 would have the closest overall diameter as compared to the stock 195/55/15, and that is the jdm standard tire size.
you can also go with 205/45/16 which also has a close overall diameter, but 205/50/16 would have a larger diameter, so your speedo would be off by a little.
