Lightest carbon seats in the world?
I used to have a subscription to EVO. Anyway, there was a series of articles relating to making the lightest caterham ever. The company involved was Reverie, a British performance carbon part manufacturer. They put some great looking and extremely nice pieces into the car.
Here is an example of the seats steering wheel weighing only 270 grams.
Also check out this 2.1kg seat. I had done a search for their website a ways back to no avail. Tonight, while flipping through the latest issue in EVO, I saw an ad from them. These parts are not viper specific, but that wheels and seats sure look nice...and expensive too. Seat isn't too bad I guess at about $800, but the wheels are nearly as expensive. Tons of different styles and sizes.
And if anyone is wondering about VAT, it is 17.5% and North Americans don't pay it.

btw...if you're wondering how uncomfortable the seat may be, the company offers a set of cushions for about $30.
