Heard of it but don't know what it is or where its located at? I just heard that if you remove it more airflow and louder sounds??? I drive a 01 GSR. What does a resonator really do. Silence the Intake? Thanks peepz for your help.

 

All your statements are correct. By the way, it's located in the passenger fender wall.
