Mark Lovell. He was a driver for the subaru factory team. He drove the open class wrx sti. Him and his co-driver were killed at the pro rally in oregon. I guess he hit a tree going 100-120 mph. Sad day really. Great driver.

There will probably be something for him at this rally.

Dude that sucks. I could never imagine doing something I've done basically every day day in day out, something I love so much and then bang just a routine accident and it's all over. Like Dale Earnhardt. Start sliding and say, "Ok, just another accident.." and next thing ya know yer at the pearly gates.

 

I'll be there. I've volunteered this year, so maybe I'll get to see some of the cars close-up.

EDIT: That's too bad about Mark Lovell. Weird part is that I was sure I had seen his name on this year's start list....
