Well they are pretty big cams for a stock block. Is this tuned? If so what was used to tune?

something is wrong. you should have more hp.

i've seen people hit 185hp with just stock cams, stock bottom and no headwork. only i/h/e/hondata/gears/headgasket and dyno tuning.

compression is too low for those cams, may want to try 12:1

Kenny Tran @ Jotech in Garland Texas tuned it. He said that I probably needed a ignition? What do you all think?

those numbers seem a bit low.

Especially on a 01 Type-R with Skunk2 Stage 2's and all the other stuff. My 2000 GS-R pushed 171wHP with Stage 1 cams and bolt-ons, on stock redline, and alot of other stock parts...

Try tuning it at a different place. A different ECU might help out too.

From what I've heard and read from these forums, mustang dyno's usually push out more power than other dyno's. Can anyone verify this?

Stock exhaust? Holding you back a little. Need some real tuning. Should be able to acheive 190 with that setup on stock exhaust.

Exactly. You guys are saying he has low numbers and that they should be higher, yet all he has is a VAFC, which isn't the best tuning device out there, and he is running stock compression. That's a big cam for his set up.

mustang dynos generally read lower than dynojets. ask Payn Tech or anyone else who's used both.

I have seen a mustang dyno first hand in action, and the number are really low. My friend with a bulit 95 bmw M3 only put down 167 whp. Also this stock S2000 only put down like 155whp. I have always heard mustang dynos low...
