Default Tein/Suspension Question

I am about to put the FLEX on my R. According to Teins website the standard setting will lower the front 1 inch and the back 1.4 inches. Do most coilover setups come set up so that the rear is lowered more? I woulda though the rear would be lowered less.

How do u torque the lower bracket? Or do u torque it against the lower bracket lock?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'standard setting' - maybe they are referring to how they are set out of the box. Coilovers allow you to make very small adjustments at each corner of the car independently, there are no 'settings'.

You're best bet is to set it all around ata good ride height and then get the car corner weighted, making small adjustments at each corner until it is balanced.

I installed the FLEX but had a quick question. Is there a problem with adjusting ride height via the lower bracket? Reading the manual it seems liek tein tells u to do it via the spring locks and wut not. But then wouldn't reduce the strat travel?

Doesn't make sense to buy the FLex and not use the lower adjustment. Changing the preload for height adjustment is silly. IF you need reassurance call TEIN.

yea thats what I was figuring... but then the manual seems to lean towards adjusting by the seat lock which would void the whole bottom bracket thing ... well neway I did it via the bottom bracket

Tighten the two spring seat locks as tight as possible, but try not to over tighten them. You can adjust the flex using the bottom shock if you unscrew the spring lock located right above the shock.

turning the shock body clockwise into the lower bracket should lower the car right? I swear I did that for days and it's the same height?
