Default Got New Brake Pads From Cobalt Friction

Just talked to Andie, great guy, very knowledgable, I told him the setup on my car for track (stock suspension, R tires), and he recommended GTR.Spec(VR)s for the front, and GT-Sports for the rear. Got a bottle of ATE SuperBlue as well, and a nice 10% honda-tech discount!

Thanks to all who recommended Cobalt and Andie, I can now see why!

When you called to place your order, you should have been asked if you are a member of one of the numerous car clubs we offer discounts to. I'll make up the discount to you on your next order.

I don't drive an R, but I know Cobalt is used in many of the users set-ups that navigate this forum.
So, I just wanted to reaffirm Andies excellent customer service.

My order for Axxis Ultimates (front and rear) for my 2000 Si was placed on July 24th after Andie received my money order. I wanted to make sure Andie had sent my pads out, so I sent him an e-mail and IM on the 30th(Wed.) since I have an autox the night of August 2nd(Saturday). Andie promptly called me on Thursday afternoon on my cell phone to let me know that they were being drop shipped from their distributor but would not make it in time for my autox event. Having understood the dilemma before any words came out of my mouth, Andie kindly offered to upgrade the order for Axxis Ultimates front pads to Cobalt GT Sports and sending me the set of Axxis Ultimates for the rear. I decided that I wanted to give them a try, since there is such a huge rave about them on this board. The pads were sent to me yesterday(Friday) without any extra cost to me for shipping or the upgrade to Cobalt GT Sports for the front. Friday evening I installed the Cobalts on the front and Axxis on the rear, did my break in around town (60 to 20 X 3, 80 to 40 X 3, and several 60 to 0 LFB stops) and all I have to say is WOW!!! The car stops on a dime now without any squeal(maybe its too early to estimate from what I have heard from others..<shrug&gt. Of course, I don't know how long they will last with my everyday driving and autoxs every month, but I am very impressed with Cobalt and Andie. I have never experienced such good customer service. You have a made a lifelong customer out of me and possibly 2 other Honda owners from this experience.

Thank you Andie!!
