1.) what type of oil would be the best for my setup and car?

2.) I just purchased GM synromesh Tranny Fluid for my Kaaz LSD. How many courts does it take. I believe its 2.7 but I wanted to make sure.

why not 5 or 10w30?

are you filling through the VSS opening on the top of the trans? open the fill hole and when the fluid starts coming out your trans is full. i thought it was 2.1 qts.

 

I would use honda mtf

 

Any 5w-30 oil would be good for your setup, as for which brand, syth or non-snth this has been debated to death. Everybody has their own opinion. Personally I use 10w-30 Penzoil High Mileage in my dx and Honda 5w-30 in my ZC.

For your tranny Honda MTF or the GM will work fine. I've heard great things about the GM Synchro about how it reduces grinding and has a better overall improvement in shifting. One thing I've never heard much of is the effects of using GM Synchro and then returning to a basic mtf and if its in anyway related to going from synth back to non-synth oil. I use honda mtf/aft in both of my trannys.
