went to go to the bank this morning and notice that there is a whole bunch of fluid on my car and the **** is fookin keyed all over the place..some *** dumped tranny fluid and keyed my **** then jimmied the door open and took my mp3 player and my ****** stock shift ****...i think it was my gf's ex because last week he blew up her mailbox which is freakin psycho...so the police came over and gave me a case number and stuff and i guess he has a few priors too....as far as the insurance goes my dad was telling me to take it to this shop that he went to that appraises really high then get a check from the insurance and bring it to his friends shop so i can make money....also my cd's were stolen...how do i make the most out of my loss so that i don't lose money but is there anyway to possibly gain money?

 

do what your pops told ya, go to some insanely priced shop and get a quote, give it to your insurance co then go to your friend. you might get enough extra cash to do another mod or two

 

insurance sucks...i lost about 300 cds do to the fact that insurance doesnt cover personal items

 

i remember my mom's car got broken into and they stole 400 christian cd's which wasn't a big score...but she said she had money and other stuff in her car so that they she broke even and didn't lose out.....would this work like if i say my class ring and stuff was in there even if it isn't on the police report

 

i dunno i think they dont cover stuff like that...unless u have special insurance...for a certin item such as custom rims...their pretty strict about only replacing wuts original on the car...and condition...at least ur gonna have brand new paint and fixed dents....

 

yea insurance can be tricky, but my girl's cousin has a 95 LS that was stolen and stripped of everything. insurance gave him quite a bit of cash and he has more stuff done to his teg now. He does own a body shop though, so he knows how to talk to the insurance companies, he posts on honda-tech under TexasLS95, IM him and see if he can help ya.

tell them about every last little thing that you can think of that's messed up on it. that's what they're there for, that's why you pay them retarded amounts of money each month, time for them to pay. make sure you get the HIGHEST quote possible on each part you need replaced.

amen to that, i've had words keyed into my car, flattened tires, shoe-polished, (the list goes on). if she seems to good to be true, she prolly is.

I can relate. I remember how pissed I was when mine was keyed. Thought the grocery store cameras would have cought the *** that did it, but noooo. Oh well, worse things could have happened.
