Anyone here have a 92/93 Civic Si in CBP~Blue...how much did you pay?

Im buying one after I sell my 99 EK Silver HB.

i own a 1992 Captiva Blue Pearl Si i paid 5500 with 85,000 miles and a new paint job and oil changed

 

i bought my 93 Captiva blu pearl hatch for 2,500 with 56,000 miles..

 

I have a '92...it WAS Captiva Blue. Now its sort of a nasty faded blue. I paid more than it was worth, but am still quite happy with it...I will be much happier when it gets a new coat of paint...

 

so I should expect no less than $2500-UP for a stock one

anyone here, where I could find one.

Not completely impossible ... I recently picked up a bone stock Si with 132K miles for $2800 ... ABSOLUTELY NO mods whatsoever on it!!

 

ok i guess at this point, it doesnt matter, stock with be a plus, minor mods are OK,

this is going to be my girls car, that why im looking for something stock since she wont appreciate i.e. H22, Turbo, Body Kit etc.. thats what I meant.

I am ready to buy, just let me know how much Im expecting to spend $3,000 or More (i hope not) for Clean Title car.

This is true, I got my 94 Si a couple years back from some nasty fat chick in her mid 30's, she had every single maint. record for the car since the day it was new. Bone stock too! But damn it took some looking to find it!

if you're willing to travel up north, do a search at http://www.craigslist.org/car/. there's occasionally an add for a 5th gen si on the site.

 

I dont mind driving a few hours or flying over to pick it up, I do appreciate the info. I already check on that site, once in a while, still no luck.

People in other states can get a stock EG faily inexpensive and in ok shape.

In Socal the market value is much higher.. as you start your hunt, you'll notice you get what you pay for.

 

my friend blacksheep paid 400 bones for his and it was fresh he did a gsr swap in it

I had a red EG Si before & sold it so I can buy a white EG Si & later on, bought a Black Si as well.. but right now, I really prefer the blue one.
