Default Kinda OT but still R related

I am bored as hell at work today, so I took my first ever shot at drawing an R.

It's not great, but I need practice. Come to think of it, this might be the only car drawing I have completed. Mostly I draw stuff or flowers (the chicks dig 'em).

Man I can't wait to get home and take the R for a beat run!

Enjoy your Friday!

Thanks for the props guys.

I am a co-op at the company I work at my my boss is always crazy busy, so i bust *** and get my work done then I have time to hang out on the tech and do other stuff. I was looking for a full time job (graduatiing in December), but that seems shady to me.

Thanks again!

The easiest way many people find to draw a car in isometric is to draw a oblong (3D rectangle) lightly, then place the curves and lines in on top, It will make the angles closer and lines blend into each other.

Thanks man, I will give that a shot. I got a "how to draw cars" book for my birthday (december), but unfortunately I don't get to read much other than text books most of the time.

Yes, I know the book you are probably talking about, I have one of those, a good computer program is AutoCAD, you can do all sorts, the Vis3D Studio can make it in to a short animation, very fun when you have a two hour drafting and Design class.

-Edit-Keep doing the same drawing until you are confident with the lines ect, then others will come alot easier to you.

I use Pro/E and SolidWorks a lot and I have modeled some crazy stuff in those.

I have a couple of die-cast cars on my desk, I will have to bust out the calipers and model one of those soon.

Thanks guys for all the compliments.

I am going to try drawing the car again, maybe I will do straight on front and rear views before I tackle the iso again.

Thanks again

We all know the truth. No need to make excuses. Do you draw colorful rainbows too?

JFWY,

Nice drawing. I wish I had some artistic skills left. People, Marijuana does affect your brain!
