Shop fixing wheels?
I'm wondering if anyone has ever had a shop (i.e. a body shop, or some car repair shop) fix the actual wheel of the car. As in machine the wheel to fix curb damage or other such things. One of my wheels has significant curb damage, and is apparently "unbalanced" now. So i've been told that i don't want to rotate that wheel to the front, and I might not be able to even fit another tire on it. Anyone know the cost of such work and how reliable or practical it is?
Thanks in advance.
