Gapping of spark plugs

I just got a new set of NGK spark plugs what is the proper gapping setting?

I'm not sure if your running standard core plugs or plats. But I will tell you that I run standard core NGK's in my R. If you like, try these NGK's... stock# 1273. They are one heat range cooler plug than stock & they really help cut down the risk of detonation. 7 bucks is not bad for a set of plugs!

Stock is 1.1mm Heat range of 6.
