i'm still sanding/prepping/repairing stuff that's broken on the car, but if i'm going to make it to the sept 13th school, i needed to start ordering stuff. i started with the most basic and cheapest. gotta love the $137 exhaust. it's always nice when you order something and the packing label says "Ship to : Team Support." makes me feel like i/m more important than i am. it was odd how the exh didn't even come in a box, but the banner did. i figured i had to get the garage banner so it's an official race shop now, especially for $7. i also ordered a seat which should be in next week, and the car should go in to get the cage built the week after that. man it's getting exciting now.
I wasnt going to put on any of the performance parts until next year, but that $137 exhaust sure is tempting! Let me know how loud it is when you put it on.
did you get the test-pipe to go along with it?

we-todd must be down, they worked last night.
yes i did get the test pipe, it's $36 in addition to $137. they're pretty loud, but hey, it's a race car.

Congratulations, again, on the SM build. Come on out to Road America next weekend for a great opportunity to check out a bunch of Spec Miatas from all across the country. You might get some great ideas on cage design, intake systems, etc. If you do make the trip, be sure to come by the San Dimas Auto Racing pits and say hello. We'll be the ones with the big yellow Kenworth truck - and I'll be in the orange #51 Star Shield Armor SM.

Scott, I'll look you up when I'm there this weekend. I'll be up crewing for a guy from here in Des Moines (Tom Kraft). Car is currently #46, but I don't know if that made it through registration or not yet...
