a1 trans??
Non LSD, and better geared than the 94-01 LS trannies.
I've got one in my turbo car, and it seems to be geared closely to the 94-01 GSR that my friend has in his car, or if the gearing is different, the final drive makes up for it. Anyway, it's a nice smooth transmission, no LONG 3rd gear syndrome like the 94+ ls.

Well from what I've read the difference between a A1 , S1 , Y1 , J1, and YS-1 is the gear ration. I have a B16 with a YS-1 LSD trans and I believe the YS1's are the closets of them all basilcy the best for 1/4

according to http://www.autocrossing.com/cgi-bin/gearcalc.cgi which to my knowledge is 100% accurate, the only difference between the 90-93 LS and 94-01 LS is the 5th gear. everything else is exactly the same 3rd gear included. i've got a 92 integra helms so i know the 90-93 LS info is accurate.
your LS trans doesn't reflect this?
