D16Z6 + T3 Super 60 = ?
my friend has a 00 cx hatch (I am D s-reies illiterate, but it is non-vtec, if that helps) he had a custom kit with shitty piping and ran 10psi. dynoed 170hp/170torque. Hope that helps.
Give cheapturbo a call and thy can tell you what th max output of that turbo is going to be I.E. probably 350WHP or whatever. As far as my opinion goes I would opt for a smaller turbo like that on a D because of 1.)probable max HP goals and, 2.)the lack of RPMs needed to take advatage of a larger turbo, such as a larger turbo on a higher revving B series motor.
hope that helps
hope that helps
Hmm interesting. Other things can help get more air in and RPM's moving faster.Lighter flywheel, 3" exhaust, intake manifold, and throttle body. Think that would help spool time? I'm trying to still hold hope on the A'PEXi kit, but I've heard its out of production. I'm looking into other options.

I have a d16z/a6 setup with a T3 60 trim .48 turbine and i made 205whp on 6psi (.4 bar tial wasgate spring)...the turbo pulls to redline and above, on the dyno i let off at 6900rpms and the hp was climbing, it would have made more power if i would have taken it to 7500 or a lil more....boost starts coming in at like 3500 or so and then starts to pull and at about 4500-5000 it rolls into the effiecency range of teh turbo and starts pulling like mad and doesnt stop.....i love the turbo, it works perfect with the setup i have done with my crx, i ran a 14.3@103.95 on 6psi....the super 60 is a tiny bit bigger but not much than just the 6o trim...but im happy with the turbo, I have a brand new internal wastegate setup for a t3 turbine side, i took it of because i went tial 38mm....so if anyone needs one or interested let me kno....its brand spankin new....but the 60 or super 60 are very close so they will make similar power, but good luck with yur setup.....mine turned out better than i could have imagined....have a good one

Here are some pics of it.. he added on 75 for a 360 thrust bearing...
it is too bad i have to sell it.. if anyone wants it let me know... i ended up paying 625 instead of the 550.. i will sell for 600 shipped.
cheapturbos.com sell the regular high performance 60 trim for 595.. so here is your chance to get a way better turbo with 360 degree bearing for the same price as a regular high performance 60 trim

T3 .60/.63 60-trim turbo, freshly rebuilt = $100... I just can't see paying $500++ just b/c it is "super"... But to each his own I guess..
But that turbo looks alomst EXSACTLY like my turbo coupe T3.

used t3s i find for like 100-200 dollars.. then to rebuild them costs anywhere around 200-250 .. so total can be anywhere from 300-450 for a USED turbo..
finding a rebuilt turbo for 100 bucks? gosh i don't know what to say about that..
