SgT, TurboR616, Victor ... I'd like to pick your brains for some info on setting up the Drag III kit in my 97 R. thanks/ed

We haven't had one for a while and might as well set one up for/before the end of the summer.
How about a little cruise along the GW Parkway (they're just about finished re-paving the bit by the airport).

 

That was a good idea! Thanks to Ed, George, Brian and Dennis for coming out today! We will be doing this again and will take some pictures as well. I'm glad we stopped off at the Audi/BMW dealership at the end too!!

It would take a good bit of the day, and a nice drive out Rt. 66 (is that the same one)!?

This weekend though I've got to play catch-up at work (the end of the fiscal year fast approaches and a bonus would be nice).
How about the weekend of the 25th (or the Holiday weekend thereafter)?

 

I've heard of the Skyline drive. It's 5 miles up and 5 miles down; no sidestreets, no ofiskers, and no shoulder. I believe there's a picnic area at the bottom.

Do you all mind if a S2000 and a Civic show up with me? A couple of friends were already talking about a trip to Skyline. Also, one of them knows which mountain (really big hill) has the 5 up 5 down.

You know what's funny, before I was proceeding to this post, I was thinking about the Skyline run!! Where is Culpepper Bryan when you need him. He helped with the last Skyline run and from what I was hearing, a little white (wanna be JDM) Civic beat everyone up.....I have to work the next 3 weekends so maybe a holiday would be better.

As long as everyone that participates is mature and doesn't try to race every TYPE-R along the way, I don't have a problem with it. I don't want it to be like the Tyson's meets... Sorry for the FLAME!!!

From what I remember its 25-35 mph most of the way.

The only thing about doing it on the Holiday weekend is that it would most likely be pretty crowded/busy/traffic.
Early September? Just around the time the leaves start changing colours?

 

Best time will be early fall.. its absolutely beautiful there then.. perfect for pictures

Corey and I are down for a Skyline drive, we had one last year, it was 25-35 mile all the way up, lol. Corey and i do this preety regular, when he can keep up George , AUTOCROSS MAN, NEXT WEEKEND!!!! SIGN UP NOW!!!!!
