i curently have a GSr.. but i bought a 99 GSR for cheap.. it was a great deal so i upgraded... now my point is this.. this car has low miles and its bone stock.. as i got it from a 62 old lady.. now she is my neighbor... so i alwasy wondered what on earth does he roll in a GSR for haha.. but anywyas

this is my plans.. STOCK BODY, swap suspension form my 94 gsr to my 99 gsr.. and thats it.. AND MANILY TURBO..

now i know how to install a turbo and im sure i can manage it within 1200 $ wid some used and some new parts..

but i really need info on the maintanence after i install it ? .. i mean frequent oil changes ? or like other problems i might run into.. so plzz let me know what all care i would have to take.. thanks a lot guys.. thanks for any info.. ohh yeah i wanna keep the internals stock as well.. just boost like 6-7 lbs of boost thats it ? does it make sense ? thanks for any kinda info guys.

if the word turbo apears in your build up plans, for get the word budget. and you should probubly dubble that 1200 doller figure. (yes you could do it for that cheap, but for how long?) anyways, just have a good plan, and dont skimp one penny on your engine manegement. oil, just a little more frequent. and get some good ngk copper plugs, 1 step colder. timing depends on intercooling to some extent. just do a ton of resurch, and ask the right questions to the right people.

You probably already know this...but before you put your turbo on get ya some breathers to support it...intake header exhaust...

--------I'm replying on this because I'm a trial user (5 posts a day) well I don't know about "hidden costs" other that you have to constantly adjust the turbo boost pressure if it is a daily driver...I've heard you have to sometimes adjust it for weather but I'm not postivie...you should be fine if you dont mind working on your car...also, it might eat away at your h/p overtime if it is a daily driver.

Also, I don't have a car yet, so I'm just going on what I know from my head lol. So if I'm wrong about something dont get mad. Also, I'm sure you will have your little problems along the way with the turbo, as people do with their cars in general, flat tires, headlight out, battery dead, ect. Just be prepared, also a good idea is to set money aside each month before you put your turbo on and then after. Do it for about a year to pay for any sudden mishaps with it, if it happens, you can immediatly pay for it...but if it doesnt you can buy some badass shiet 4 your car!
