are they universal or vehicle specific?

i have a close friend with an EG6 w/ GSR motor + 50 shot who only cares about the ricey look and goin fast. this **** has a corbeau harness mounted to his rail! he has those D.A.D seats(supposed Torino replicas). so, YES, his harness tail straps goes down along with the seat and is "bolted" to his slider/rail! i told him how unsafe, gay that is. not to mention, he took OUT the oem seatbelt and will not put it back on! after me about to punch his face couple times..... he finally agreed to buy a harness bar so that he can mount the harness properly (now, i gotta talk him out of wearing the harness on the street). he is not "internet savvy" and i am the one actually cares about his safety haha. so where would you recommend and any helpful tips on the harness bar issue?

Harness bars universally suck, and are universally unsafe to mount harnesses on. Use a roll bar.
