It's an 89 civic dx
very clean
i am looking for 2k cash, which I know everybody is going to say wow, thats a lot, but i put so much money in this car and here is why.
The car has about 160k miles on the body, but at 155k, i blew the stock dx motor.
So I went to a buddy of mine who had a dx and was swapping a motor out with 80k on it.
I took his cluster and the motor.
I put 7k on the motor since, which my mechanic did for me and also charged me 730 dollar.
the car runs great, idles at 700 and runs awesome.
i had everything on the motor changed before install including clutch.
I also have an extra dx tranny in my back yard from the swap.
I have receipt to prove that i got the motor done there and also i will let you meet my mechanic.
This is why i want 2k.
timing belt, belts, gaskets, everything was done and as can be seen, the motor does not leak any oil!

things i did to the car, 4to 1 header, CAI intake, and also full custom mandrel bent aluminum 2.25 inch exhaust catback, with apexi n1 style, no raspy ****, just nice deep tone.
5 spd tranny, ac is cold.

$2K isn't unreasonable, but you may have a wait on your hands before you find someone willing to pay that price.

I'd pay $2,000 if you lived near me, probably. The only downfall is I just bought my CRX, so I'm not quite ready to buy a new car. But, I think it is definently worth $2,000 from what I have seen...looks like you've taken care of it.
